T is the website that will keep you busy discovering the true tropical and hispanic side of a nation that share with their equals citizens at the continental U.S. their way of life, the currency and a modern society. is not a government nor corporate sponsored website. We are a genuine local travel guiding effort. Puertoricans living on the Islands are a genuine hispanic community. but a supplemental one that we know and use sporadically in our daily social/work lives. Spanish language has allow us to keep the full hispanic flair. Anglo only speakers are less than 3% of the population.
When visiting Puerto Rico you will enjoy a rainbow of cultural and traveling experiences very different to other hispanic communities in the States. We are The Real Latin America on US territory!
The Archipelago of Puerto Rico has many beaches where you can go, but few that remain in isolation and more or less solitary. Only through access by boat you can reach these "private" points, and when we mention private we mean where there are almost no people and where we can feel ourselves as part of nature.
As an island, Puerto Rico only have two options to get there: flying and sailing. Flying is the fastest and sailing or by boat is the most enjoyable and slowest.
Staying in other US territories can be costlier than doing it in Puerto Rico. Although Puerto Rico can be higher than other destinations in the Caribbean, it could be lower than continental destinations or overseas US destinations.
