If the Isla Grande Airport is the one, stay at the Condado area. Will be better as taxi will cost less to get your place and leaving to your next destination. This one is near the nightlife of Condado and also of the memorable Old San Juan nightlife.
If getting by boat, the {tip Club Na√∫tico de San Juan::}dock marina{/tip} is beside the Isla Grande Airport and can be the best option as is near Condado and Old San Juan.

09:00 PM | Get a night walk through Old San Juan Bay were cruise ships arrive. Go to Bahía Urbana. It will be a little long roundtrip walk from San Francisco Street to the port boardwalk.

12:00-2:00 AM | Go dancing! Experiment the hotel dancing areas or Old San Juan discos/bars.
