Culebra | Flamenco Beach

Flamenco Beach, Culebra PR (US) ©PuertoRiKo.Com

The most beautiful beach in Puerto Rico, Flamenco is also a world grade beach. Recognized as one of the 10 best beaches in the world, you will find blue-green colors, exceptional beachcombing and less people than that in hotel front beaches. It is a former blue flag beach.

Precautions must be taken as it was a bombing place for the US Navy, so activated bombs have been found underwater on this beach. Usually they have been founded on the extreme left after the abandoned tank. Otherwise the beach is basically safe.
